class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on July 31, 2026, notified regarding the Submission of indents for Underutilized Ortho Implants.
It has directed all ESIC hospitals and medical colleges to submit indents through the MM2 module for their requirement of under-utilized orthopaedic implants available in the central medical store. The listed inventory includes various orthopaedic and spinal implants, such as locking plates, humeral and femoral nails, locking screws, pedicle screw rods, spinal cages, cervical plates, and related accessories. As these implants are autoclavable and do not have an expiry period, ESIC has advised institutions to assess their clinical requirements and submit indents at the earliest to ensure optimum utilization of the available stock and minimize inventory wastage.
